ICYMI, last week, we announced our second Direct-to-Phase II SBIR which will be utilized to produce the radome for a Hermeus Hypersonic aircraft (so excited for that collaboration!) Announcements coming soon for our first SBIR contract with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration which involves the Moon and our largest SBIR contract ever (which is our first TACFI) that will further develop the MMOD shield for Space debris that we call Space Armor™.... STAY TUNED! If my math is correct, we've now been awarded 13 total SBIR/STTR contracts across USAF, USSF, DLA and NASA. Meet Jonny Kim. He’s a Navy Seal, a Harvard doctor, and an astronaut all at the same time. And he became all of that before turning 35 😳 Jonathan Yong Kim grew up in a broken home with an abusive father. At 16, he started training his body and mind to join the Navy Seals and became a special ops combat medic, a sniper, and a navigator. He won tons of medals for his service. At 28, he realized he wanted to heal people. So he joined the Harvard Medical School and graduated as a doctor at 32. And then at 33, he applied to NASA and was one of 18 people chosen out of 18,000 candidates to join the next batch of astronauts flying to the moon in 2024.
