For investors spooked by losses in their passively managed ETFs, it may be worth looking at actively managed options. Some of the appeal of ETFs is their tax efficiency and liquidity, which active management aims to retain. “We’re in an environment, I believe, where active management is more important than ever,” said Holly Framsted, Capital Group director of ETFs, who spoke at CNBC’s Financial Advisor Summit earlier this week.
