GEN Restaurant Group, a Korean restaurant chain, starts trading Tuesday. There are several pretty big IPOs this week beyond GEN, including insurance company Fidelis, Vesta Real Estate and Kodiak Gas Services.
CNBC’s Kate Rogers will focus on GEN Restaurant Group tomorrow. The Renaissance IPO ETF is up 3.3% in June and 25% year to date. In the last three months, Chipotle is the top restaurant stock, up 25%. Restaurant Brands is up 21% in three months. Jack in the Box is up 8.5%. -
Red Robin, Yum China and Dine Brands are the laggards in the restaurant area.

None of those IPOs are real tech companies. Tech accounts for 26% of the S&P 500. It is the top performing sector in 2023, up 36.6%. Apple alone accounts for about 7.5% of the S&P 500. It hit a new high today and is up about 43% in 2023. Dominic Chu will run through the sector in CNBC’s "Sectornomics" on Tuesday.

The heat in Texas and the power companies |
It’s going to be over 100 degrees in Houston and Dallas all week long. Several big public utilities operate in Texas in one form or another. Almost all of them are down in the last week.
Sempra is down 1.45% in a week and is 17% from the 52-week high. Xcel is down 1.66% in a week and 19% from the 52-week high. Atmos Energy is down 0.56% in a week and 4.5% from the 52-week high.
CenterPoint is down 0.9% in a week. Shares are 13.7% from the 52- week high. Constellation Energy is down 2.43% in a week. The stock is 7.4% from the 52-week high. Entergy is down 3% in a week. It's 19.2% from the 52-week high.
NRG is the big winner in the last week, up more than 5%. It's 21.6% from the 52- week high.

Oil was up today, but still below the $70 a barrel mark. The S&P Energy sector was up 1.7% today. It remains down in the last week, off by 1.8%.
In the last month, the sector is flat. However, EQT is up 11.4% in that time period. Baker Hughes is up 9.5% in a month. On the lower end, Marathon Oil is down 4.7% in a month. Phillips 66 is down 3.6% in a month, and Pioneer Natural Resources is down 3% in a month.

SL Green shot higher by almost 20% today amid news it is selling a stake in a New York City office tower. The stock is down 16% in 2023. Vornado also up big today, 13.5%. It's down 21% in 2023. Boston Properties up nearly 10% today. It's down 16% in 2023. CNBC data team member Nick Wells adds that the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) was up 2.2% today. It was the top sector of the day and had its best day since April 27. All components were positive today as CoStar Group hit a 52-week high.

Delta has its investor meeting Tuesday |
CNBC's Phil LeBeau will interview CEO Ed Bastian. The stock is up 18% in June. Guy Adami on "Fast Money" had Delta as his final trade today, saying it’s breaking out. The NYSE Arca Airline Index (XAL) is up 16% in June. Allegiant is the leader in June, up 22.7%. It's followed by Delta and JetBlue. Ryanair is at the bottom of the list, down 1.2% in June.

The company reported today, and the stock dropped 7.6%. This was due in part to a third-quarter forecast that was lower than hoped for amid higher projected labor and marketing costs. But the stock is up 81% in 2023 and up 30% in June.
The company holds its investor day on Tuesday. CNBC's Seema Mody will report. Royal Caribbean is up 96% year to date, and it's up 20% in June. Norwegian Cruise Line is up 51% in 2023 and 25% in June.

Walgreens set to report Tuesday |
CNBC's Bertha Coombs will cover the results.
The stock is down 15.5% in 2023. It's the second worst performing Dow component of the year ahead of only 3M. The S&P Consumer Staples sector, of which Walgreens is a component, is down less than 1% year to date.
The leaders so far this year are Costco, Monster Beverage and McCormick. The worst performers are Dollar General, Estee Lauder and Archer Daniels Midland.

New home sales are out Tuesday |
The SPDR S&P Homebuilders ETF (XHB) is up 28% so far this year and up 10% in a month. Top performers in the last month are Advanced Drainage Systems, up 16%. PulteGroup is up 15.4%, and M/I Homes is up 14.5%. In the basement, Skyline Champion is down 3%. Tempur Sealy is up about 3%, and so is Cavco Industries. Cavco makes manufactured and modular homes and is also active in a few other categories. CNBC's Diana Olick will cover the numbers and stocks.
